Hello,
When installing a DOORS client on a machine running Microsoft Windows, the configuration details are stored in the Windows registry. We can add more registry values separating with semi colons(;). Is there any other limitations are there for using more registry values? what is the maximum count of registry values?
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks in advance,

As for the standard configuration details in the registry: only a couple make sense to add entries separated by semi-colons. Certainly the default 'Data' location is a single value and looks like 36677@SomeDoorsServer, it would not make any sense to do this: 36677@SomeDoorsServer;36688@SomeOtherServer;36677@SomewhereElse. The 'addins' and 'projectaddins' (and attributeaddins and layoutaddins) variables can indeed have multple entries, since this represents additional locations where such DXL can be found.
As for any variables you create yourself, you can have semi-colons all you want so long as you can parse them yourself. You can use the 'getenv' and 'setenv' functions to manage such variables, which are indeed stored in the Registry.
